Conduct of System Reviews

System reviews on areas prone to financial crimes risks are conducted following alleged complaints, investigations, requests from public bodies and own initiatives by the Commission.

The reviews aim at:

Identifying weaknesses/loopholes that may provide financial crimes opportunities

Making recommendations to address weaknesses/loopholes

Enhancing existing legal framework, structures and systems in public bodies

Enhancing organizational and staff integrity

Promoting public trust and confidence in public sector organisations

Improving oversight mechanisms in organisations

Conduct of Financial Crimes Prevention Guidance

Financial Crimes Prevention Guidance (FCPG) adopts a more focused approach on the area under review and the objectives are to:

Examine the system and procedures of the area under review

Provide guidance to the concerned officers

Recommend measures to eliminate loopholes and financial crimes risks
