The Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) had the pleasure of welcoming members of the Society for the Welfare of the Deaf for an interactive awareness session on 24 September 2026, held in the context of the International Week of Deaf People.
The session focused on protecting vulnerable members of society from financial crimes, while creating a space for interaction, awareness and meaningful participation.
Most importantly, the initiative reaffirmed a simple message:
The Deaf community is an integral part of our civil society. Their voice matters. Their participation matters.
Through its Education & Prevention Department (EPD), the FCC remains committed to making financial crime prevention inclusive, accessible and relevant to all.
One community. One shared purpose. A safer and more inclusive society.
